Oat Maple Energy Laddu

These bite-sized treats are not only easy to make but also packed with natural goodness to keep you energized throughout the day. Whether you need a quick snack, a post-workout boost, or a sweet treat after dinner, our blog has a diverse range of mouthwatering recipes to satisfy every craving.

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter of your choice)
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond flour, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
  • Add the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined. The mixture should be sticky and hold together when pressed.
  • If desired, fold in the optional add-ins, such as chopped nuts, dried fruits, and chia seeds or flaxseeds. This step adds texture and extra flavor to the oat balls.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Chilling the mixture will make it easier to handle and shape the oat balls.
  • Once chilled, take about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your hands to form a smooth ball. Repeat the process until all the mixture is used up.
  • If desired, roll the finished oat balls in unsweetened shredded coconut, gently pressing the coconut onto the surface of the balls.
  • Place the maple oat balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Store the Maple Cinnamon Oat Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Enjoy them as a snack, a quick breakfast, or a pre/post-workout pick-me-up!

Feel free to customize this recipe with your favorite add-ins and adjust the sweetness to your taste. These maple oat balls are not only delicious but also a healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth and keep your energy levels up throughout the day. Enjoy!
